James Claggion is a highly efficient and dedicated executive protection professional more than 20 years of experience providing the highest level of protection service to foreign dignitaries, VIPs, corporate executives, high ranking military officials, athletes, entertainers, and celebrities. He is known for operating with a high level of professionalism, consistent ability to effectively deal with complex security logistics, and the ability to effectively manage demanding assignments. Mr. Claggion has led several domestic and international protective service operations in the US Navy for Naval Criminal Investigative Service (NCIS), Central Command (CENTCOM), and the private sector. He has worked as an operator in the United States, Brazil, UK, Germany, Turkey, UAE, Bahrain, Qatar, Iraq, Afghanistan. As an operator, he was a motorcade driver (chase driver), advance team leader where he led 30 agents to protect a high value target in Iraq, and close protection agent.

Mr. Claggion is a highly decorated former military police officer in the United States Navy. During his service, he was also a Harbor Patrol Officer, Protective Service Agent, physical security specialist, team leader for counter surveillance team and firearms instructor. 

Mark McCutcheon is a senior partner/co-owner of Total Cover Protective Services. Mark works as an agent as well as manages more than fifteen additional agents located in different states and countries. He is a graduate of Tennessee State University with a degree in Criminal Justice and an accredited certificate in International Executive Protection. His experience encompasses  over 20 years as an Executive Protection Agent providing outstanding close personal protection to executives, dignitaries, celebrities, religious leaders, politicians, and members of the Saudi Royal Family. 

He has previously served as the Director of Security on government contracts for  successful security companies in the Washington DC area. He has garnered respect domestically and internationally for his professionalism and expertise in the security industry. He is highly trained in martial arts (jujitsu), defensive tactics, conflict resolution, crowd control, and close quarter hand to hand combat. He has certifications from the NRA, concealed weapons permit in multiple states, and is a licensed Private Investigator. 

He has shared his extensive knowledge with others interested in pursuing similar credentials via speaking engagements wherein he served as the keynote speaker for local organizations and national conventions. 

As a former football player, he has connected with the youth and young adults with ease even at times as a gang violence mediator. His compassion and ability to give of himself to help others has made an enormous impact in the lives of individuals in several of the  roughest communities in the nation’s capital and surrounding cities. He has mentored formerly incarcerated men into becoming hard working, responsible, contributing citizens eradicating recidivism. Through his nurturing and teachings, he has helped to improve the lives of many young men.
